Description: For information only. The Buildings polygon feature class was derived from electronic algorithms generated by using the 2017 orthophotography as supplied by the Polk County Property Appraiser. This photography was flown with a 6 inch pixel resolution in December 2016 and January 2017 for the entire county and orthorectified by the vendor before delivery. Subsequently a subset of the orthophotography was submitted to Eagle View, Inc. by the City of Lakeland covering the Lakeland Electric Service and a little beyond. This subset was run through the algorithms and QA’d by Eagle View. Upon review and final acceptance of the City of Lakeland GIS division the resulting feature class is offered.
